Where can I learn how to do regression in Matlab

I currently am writing a thesis with matlab and I am new to this program. I want to run a bayesian time varying parameter model in matlab using some data from excel. How can I do this and is there any good sources where I can learn how to do regressions in Matlab? I am mostly confused about the fundametal part of the program and coding part.

First learn how to approach your problem from the statistical side, then look how to implement this theoretical approach in MATLAB. Don't let the MATLAB tools dictate what can be done.
