How can I connect CANopen with MATLAB?

I am trying to build a GUI with MATLAB for a machine which uses CANopen as a fieldbus system. I would like to know how could I connect CANopen with MATLAB?

Based on my understanding, MATLAB and Simulink do not directly support the CANopen protocol.

However, an alternative approach would be to consider the CANopen I/O modules provided by Speedgoat, which could be suitable for your application.
