How can I set up multiple versions of matlab under linux

24 views (last 30 days)
I have installed MATLAB 2014b and 2012b my Ubuntu 14.10 machine, they both have their own folders under /usr/local/MATLAB/ and were installed as su. 2012b was installed second, and now my terminal command matlab and shortcuts all run 2012b even though 2014b in installed also.
How can I specify which version is run when I type matlab in a terminal?
Any help is appreciated. Many thanks, Chris

OK, I've figured it out, I just need to create shortcuts to "/usr/local/MATLAB/R201Xb/bin/matlab -desktop" instead of just "matlab -desktop"
