Simulink Floating Scope Cannot Zoom in X

11 views (last 30 days)
I have several floating scopes in a model, but they only provide an option to Zoom in Y. Regular, wired, scopes can be zoomed in X and Y. Is there a setting in floating scopes that allows them to be zoomed in X?

I also encountered a similar situation some time ago. While searching for a resolution, I came across the following workaround:
  • Click on 'Zoom Y' in the toolbar.
  • Right-click anywhere on the plot.
  • Select 'Horizontal Zoom' to scale the X-axis.
  • You should be able to see an option that allows zooming on the X-axis as seen in the image below.
If the above workaround does not resolve the issue, then you can use a regular scope block or a signal viewer. Additionally, you can contact MathWorks Technical Support by accessing this link: https://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us.html, as they will be able to provide an accurate solution to resolve this issue.

Thank you. This did work. Unfortunately, it doesn't let the user reset the view to full width again. It seems to "break" the other scale buttons until the simulation is rerun. I'll throw this in the tech support queue for potential future enhancement.
