If your GPU is on the same system that MATLAB is running on, then just go ahead and use the GPU normally.
If your GPU is on your local host but MATLAB is running on a remote host, then you cannot make use of the GPU in MATLAB. The same is true if MATLAB is running on your local host but the GPU is on the remote host.
