my pv system is providing required dc output voltage with the dc to dc converter. but i'm unable to obtain the same output voltage when it is connected to an inverter which is connected to grid.

Hello,
In this scenario, several factors could be at play. Here are some potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can consider:
  • Ensure that the inverter is compatible with the DC voltage and power output from your PV system and DC-DC converter.
  • Check the inverter's input voltage range and make sure your PV system's output falls within this range.
  • Check for any inverter settings related to grid-tied operation, as some inverters have specific modes for grid connection.
  • Ensure that the inverter is properly synchronized with the grid. Grid-tied inverters need to match the grid's voltage, frequency, and phase.
  • Consider the load conditions on the grid side. If there is a significant load connected, it might affect the inverter's ability to maintain the desired output voltage.
Hope it helps!
