windows matlab.exe -nodesktop does not find Y: drive

2 views (last 30 days)
Running matlab in desktop mode and am able to find all drives under 'file explorer', I use 'addpath' to include Y: drive in my $PATH. I prefer to
run in -nodesktop mode, but cannot find my Y: drive. Is there a way to do this from the command prompt? Or is there a way to point to
the path file constructed from the desktop runs. I would add that the command prompt (where I launch matlab.exe) does not see the network drive Y:
Thanks,
David

If you just open a console (command prompt) window by itself, does it see the Y: drive?

Hi @David,
To enable the command prompt session opened from C drive, you might have to map the network drive 'Y' to some alias from the same command window session. You can achieve this using 'Net use'.
You can refer the following documentation link for more details:
Hope it helps!
