Inconsistency in documentation for Vehicle Body 3 DOF block

3 views (last 30 days)
In the Vehicle Body 3 DOF block, the documentation for the single track model tire forces says:
"To determine the tire forces, the block uses the slip angles."
But the equations below this statement use δ, which is the symbol for steering angle, not slip angle. I believe it should say steering angle, as this is what the documentation for the dual track tire forces says.
Can someone confirm what this should be?

The equation of the single track model for tire force on the rear and front tyre used are correct as the tire forces depends on the steering angle(δ) but the documentation mentions it incorrectly as "Tire forces calculated using slip angle".
The below article also validates the equation used in the force calculation uses steering angle.
I hope this will resolve your query.

Thanks, that resolves my question!
If I want to try and get the wording fixed, would I leave feedback on the documentation page itself?
