Check what you get for
license('test', 'Aerospace_Toolbox')
A result of 1 indicates that the Aerospace Toolbox is properly licensed; a result of 0 indicates that no license for it could be found.

Hi,
I am having the same issue. I have checked the license and its good. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Ephemeris add-on package twice now. And the planetEphemeris function runs right after install, however when I close and open a new Matlab session I get the following error using your exact command.
Error using planetEphemeris
Ephemeris data is not available on the MATLAB path. You might need to download it using the aeroDataPackage function.
And the 'aeroDataPackage' command just opens the Add-On Explorer, which shows I already have the package installed.
I have tried searching for the ephmeris mat files on my hard drive and they are no where to be found. It is almost as if installing the add-on does not save these files after matlab is shut down.
