Why do all Matlab windows appear on each of my mac desktops?

10 views (last 30 days)
I am using matlab R2015a on Mac OSX 10.9.5. I can't quite remember what I updated from (possibly R2013a), but since doing so every time I change which mac desktop I'm using, all matlab windows appear in that desktop. I also am unable to put individual matlab windows into different desktops using mission control.
I have searched for this problem but found no one else replicating it. I've had a look in matlab preferences, but to no avail.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

In 10.10.5 (Yosemite), using R2014a, I am able to drag MATLAB windows on to different desktops.

When you have MATLAB running, right click on the MATLAB icon in the dock, hover over the Options entry, and move right to select either 'This Desktop' or 'None' where currently you have 'All Desktops' selected.
