*Fatal error on startup Cannot locate com/mathwo​rks/jmi/Op​aqueJavaIn​terface class*

Hello,

when I start Matlab 2013b 32 bit I receive the following message:

*Fatal error on startup

Cannot locate com/mathworks/jmi/OpaqueJavaInterface class*

The latest java version is 1.7.0_76 32 bit.What should I do?

I was also facing the same error during one of my workflows and I could not solve it even after referring to the answer by the MathWorks Support Team here: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/97330-why-does-matlab-crash-at-startup-with-the-error-cannot-locate-com-mathworks-jmi-opaquejavainterface

I eventually found out that it was a problem caused by some McAfee endpoint security products that I had installed on my computer. After uninstalling them, the error did not occur for me. I suggest trying the same if it is applicable for you.
