Find Lowest Eigenvalues using EIGS command

Dear All,
I want to use eigs command to get first few (lowest) eigenvalues for two INPUT matrices (K,M) and get two out put matrices A and B.
[A,B]=eigs(K,M,10)
returns highest 10 eigenvalues which I am not interested.

eigs(K,M,10,'sm')
does not work ?
