Export to .txt file

Hi everyone. I was trying to create a txt file so i can strore some inputs in there. I have a problem though. I save alot of stuff in there and when i use "type" and print it inside Matlab it looks ok, but when i open the file with notepad there are no spaces or new lines...its just a row of text. How can i fix that?

When you use fopen(), use 'wt' rather than just 'w'

The part about there being no spaces does not sound familiar to me at the moment.
