reducing the co-efficient

I have a image and have performed dual tree operation ,now i want to reduce the co-efficient,is it possible,please help

I have a image and i have performed 3D DUAL-TREE,now i want to select significant co=efficient,using noise shaping algorithm,I have uploaded a paper please see page num 298,please tell how to perform

Anrew I i have matrix of 512x512,i want it to reduce it into any size using noise shaping algorithm
