If you have Image Processing Toolbox
doc imrotate
If you don't then working with images is certainly less simple!

Let's say the name of the image is flower.jpg
img=imread('flower.jpg'); % Reads image
rot_img=imrotate(img,90); % Rotates image
imshow(rot_img) % show image
