Cubic Smoothing Splines for close curve in 2d

hello i have data of x,y co' for a close curve shape i want to smooth the shape and then re-sample it to reduce noise all the spline method i found (spsps,cpaps etc) didnt help much

is it possible to let us start with the points you used to build the image?

it seems as if you have plotted the points as diamonds and then joined them.

Since the points are really close each other, do you agree that to 'round' the curve down to cube interpolation, there is need for decimation?
