How do ttest work for multiclass sample?

3 views (last 30 days)
I have this code
dataTrainG1 = dataTrain(grp2idx(grpTrain)==1,:);
dataTrainG2 = dataTrain(grp2idx(grpTrain)==2,:);
[h,p,ci,stat] = ttest2(dataTrainG1,dataTrainG2,'Vartype','unequal');
unfortunately this work for two sample test only. how do I make it work for 5 sample test?
I am doing simple feature selection for multiclass cancer. I hope you can help me

The proper statistical test depends on what you want for your null hypothesis. I'm making a guess here that you might want anova1, but you should carefully read the documentation to determine exactly what you are trying to test.

yes, I want to use anova1, but the problem is, it does not really work with my gene expression data
