Did I miss something in set up of trial version of Matlab on openSUSE 13.2? The software is running very slowly and I wondered if that is normal. Thanks.

OpenSUSE does not appear to be a supported Linux version.
What seems to show up as slow if you run bench ? If it is the graphics, then are you using hardware opengl or software opengl? What does
opengl info
report?

Its hardware accelerated and 2D and 3D seems to slow down significantly.

Switched to software mode and the timing for 2-D and 3-D is reduced by half.
