I have two axes with figure 'f' assigned as the parent for both axes. How do I save and plot this as one single image/file automatically?

Coder - please clarify what you mean by How do I save and plot this as one single image/file automatically. If you have two axes, which one do you want to save? Which one do you want to plot as wouldn't both be updated with something?
