How does the function of "sparameters" calculate the scattering matrix for an array object in the Antenna Toolbox?

Hello Everyone
In this website,( http://www.mathworks.com/help/antenna/ref/sparameters.html ), it gives the description of the function of "sparameters". However, this website does not illustrate what the method it uses to calculate the scattering matrix for an array.
Can anyone tell me how this function calculate the S parameters? Is this function an accurate method to see the mutual coupling effects among different patch antennas?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Xining,
Antenna Toolbox uses the Method of Moments technique to analyze the antennas and antenna arrays. More information about the technique is available here with detailed references. http://www.mathworks.com/help/antenna/ug/method-of-moments.html?searchHighlight=method%20of%20moments
Regarding mutual coupling and s-parameters, here is another link from the documentation with more information http://www.mathworks.com/help/antenna/ug/mutual-coupling.html
Finally, the following example shows results from the toolbox in comparsion with a reference: http://www.mathworks.com/help/antenna/examples/wideband-blade-dipole-antenna-and-array.html
