Yes, ver.
This forum is not the MATLAB command line.
If you do not have MATLAB installed at all, then you need to contact your IT person or contact Mathworks to find out your license number.
At the MATLAB command line give the command
ver
One of the first four lines will display your license number if you have a licence number .
Student licence and trial licence do not have a licence number . Pre-release licence do have a licence number but it will not display in this command.

I need my license number

The other day I needed to go to the library for something. I knew they had a new building, so I looked up its address and checked it out on street view. Then I drove to the location and got out of my car and walked into the big library-shaped building that said "library" in giant letters on the front. I walked up to the librarian and told them I needed help finding the library. I was flabbergasted when the librarian at the library told me that I had already found the library completely by accident! True story.
MATLAB Student version do not have a license number.
If you have MATLAB already installed, then ver will tell you the license number if you have a license number
If you purchased MATLAB "Standard" version or one of the "Academic" versions, or "Startup" version, then Mathworks would have emailed you the license number.
The one version I am not certain of, is the Home version. There is argument to be made that likely it does not have a license number, but I do not know for sure.

See this Answers post for instructions on how to determine your license number either from within MATLAB or without having MATLAB open or installed.

How I Get My License Number?

What kind of license do you have?
Did you purchase it yourself, or is an organization providing it to you?
The ver command should show it to you. Did you try it? If not, why not? If you did, you should see something like
>> ver
--------------------------------------------------------------
MATLAB Version: 9.9.0.1467703 (R2020b)
MATLAB License Number: 123456
