Dear all, is there anyway to use the variable editor in a GUI? e.g. pushing a button of the GUI the variable editor appears giving the opportunity to look at specific variable
Thank you

The open command will open a variable in the Variable Editor:
x = rand(1,10);
open x

First of all, thank you for your answer. PRObably i have not been clear enough. What i want to do is to give the opportunity to the user to "navigate" in the variable browser when using my standalone application. if i write in my code "open x" nothing happens since there is no workspace in the standalone application. What i was asking is if there is anyway to use the variable editor also in the application. I hope it is more clear now. As i said before, thank you very much for you answer and your time

No, you cannot use the variable editor in a standalone application. Something you could do which is similar is to display the data in a uitable which is interactive and scrollable.
