How can I include new signal into WaveFormGenerator Simulink block from a script?

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello,
I would like to add a new signals to the list of my current signal for the WaveFormGenerator block.I have already generated a string ( signal below) that should be placed under the signals list, this is the following
signal = step('StepTime',1e-05,'InitialValue',1,'FinalValue',0.9)+step('StepTime',1e-05,'InitialValue',0.9,'FinalValue',0.8)
I have tried to use gcb along with set_param for that block, but I don't know which parameter to address to set my signal on the WaveFormGenerator list
Any advise?
Thanks in advance,
Regards!

I don't think that you can set a value for the 'Waveform Definition' field from the command line. As per the following documentation, there is no command-line parameter listed for 'Waveform Definition':
Also, the block specific parameters for the 'Waveform generation' block does not have any command-line parameter listed for 'Waveform Definition': http://www.mathworks.com/help/releases/R2015b/simulink/slref/block-specific-parameters.html
