Gyroscope and accelerometer for raspberry pi 3 and matlab

I am looking for a gyroscope and accelerometer (preferably an all in one) that will interface easily with raspberry pi and is easy to use with matlab/simulink. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was looking at the SPI accelerometer but am not sure if that will work well with another gyroscope or if there is a convenient all in one sensor.

The Raspberry Pi Sense Hat module will be suitable for your particular use case.
The Sense Hat module offers the following sensors:
  1. Gyroscope
  2. Accelerometer
  3. Magnetometer
  4. Temperature
  5. Barometric pressure
  6. Humidity
Support of the Raspberry Pi Sense Hat module is available for both MATLAB and Simulink inside the MATLAB and Simulink support packages for Raspberry Pi.
