Simulate Arduino model with NodeMCU as a wifi layer

I have recently trained a neural network. I want that simulink model which has the neural network to simulate on my Arduino wirelessly. I have Arduino Mega and a NodeMCU v3 (ESP8266 12E) and without going for a wifi shield can I accomplish my project?
