editor occasionally unresponsive on macbook

I'm on a new macbook running 10.12.3 and occasionally, typically when opening the laptop, the editor is unresponsive to mouse clicks for maybe 5 - 30 seconds. Is this a known issue?

I am facing the same issue I have a MacBook Air and it starts to hang whenever I open the editor .first it became unresponsive and then shut down and now the MacBook Air Won't Turn On . I have tried removing and reinserting battery and also I tried force start what to do?
