multiplying an image by (-1)

what's the result of multiplying an image by (-1) on matlab ?

It depends on the data type. What data type is your image?

It would have taken the whole of 2 seconds for you to try it on the command line. Why didn't you?
The result is either 0 (for unsigned image types) or -yourimage (otherwise), depending on its type . Same as would happen with multiplying any number/matrix by -1.
