How to read html file stored on disk? webread function is reading only a URL and unable to read a file on disk. Please guide.

Please post, what you have tried so far. Does the "file:///..." URI fail also? What exactly does "read" mean? Of course fileread does work, but what is the wanted output?

<file:///> fails with webread. fileread is working fine. Thanks for response.
