WHY CANNOT MATLAB POST SATISFACTORY EXAMPLES OF NN DESIGN USING GA ???

Satisfactory examples would include multiple MATLAB example data sets from

 help nndatasets

 doc nndatasets

Including a MIMO example would be great!

Hi Greg The development team say that training with a genetic algorithm is not supported by the toolbox. I'm so sorry to hear about your frustration, but that workaround for R2009b is not supported now. We can file an enhancement request. Unfortunately we don't have any useful information we could share with you now.

This is not a formal Documentation example of course, it is a correction of code that was posted in 2013 by Mathworks Support to demonstrate neural net learning via GA.
