Hey all,
Any idea about why am I getting values written on top axis and how to remove it?

Use an empty string for the title argument:
f = @(x) x.^2 - 10*x;
figure(1)
ezplot(f, [-2 2])
grid
title('')

If by ‘these values’ you intend the equation you are plotting in the title, that is simply the default behaviour of ezplot. In the fplot function, the default is not to print the title.
Consider experimenting with fplot (introduced before R2006a), especially since ezplot is being deprecated.
