Can I boot SLRT standalone via CD?

Is it possible to create a standalone SLRT app using a target with no hard drive and no flash media? I'd like to boot from CD with a standalone application.

Thanks, but I'm referring to a CD boot standalone application. I regularly boot my targets with CD, but I'd like to deploy a standalone app.
