Gui slowing down more and more when used

Hi,

I have a GUI that is mostly a tool to pick some location on an image. I use the function ginput to get a 2D point. My issue is when I run this interface, more and more I use the interface it is slowing down at the point it is just impossible to use it. Is it something I can do to clear buffers or do some reset.
