sfunction c++ not recognized

I'm running a reference model which within it is a block that uses sfunction builder. When I build it, it generates c++ files. This is fine but when I try running the model, the reference blocks seems to be looking for that file as a C file instead of C++ and gives me an error that the C file does not exist. Any ideas?

Strange. Seems like it could be a bug. Please consider reporting this to Tech Support if you don't find a solution on this forum?
