How to feed parameters in DC machine model for any given name plate details?

1 view (last 30 days)
I want to simulate voltage drop effects on cranking motor. I have motor specifications and its performance curves. But I dont know how to model this machine using DC machine model available in sim power systems, as it requires circuit parameters which I don't have. Help me with modelling this motor for given specifications. Details: 24 V, 6000rpm(no load speed),1200 rpm(full load speed), 100A (no load current), 760A(full load current).

Hi,
You can use the Preset model in the Configuration tab. The Preset model provides a set of predetermined electrical and mechanical parameters for various DC machine ratings of power (HP), DC voltage (V), rated speed (rpm), and field voltage (V).
For more information on Preset model please have a look at the following link:

Thanks!, Btw, The preset models available in Config. tab does not meet my requirements. The specs which I want is not available there. So How to model to my specs?
