Ocean optics in matlab

Hi there,

I am trying to use the STS-NIR spectrometer of ocean optics in matlab. I am using matlab r2017a and already have omnidriver(without password) installed. When i try to download the support package in matlab an error occurs while trying downloading omnidriver. if i just try to use the spectrometer like this https://oceanoptics.com/faq/controlling-usb-spectrometers-omnidriver-matlab/ it sends an Unsupported major.minor version 52.0 warning followed by a Undefined variable "com" or class "com.oceanoptics.omnidriver.api.wrapper.Wrapper". error. is there a way to fix these errors without downloading the support package? or if i need the support package how do i fix the support package
