2D eps problem in Matlab 2016a

I have used Matlab on Mac for years. However, after I upgrade to the Matlab2016a, the eps output became weird. When I save a normal 2D plot with pcolor, the file size can go up to hundreds MB and the plot is complete a mass with a lot of whit lines or box in the figure.
It seems in the old version matlab, the 2D eps is saved more like in a fake eps way, in which the figure is first converged to some formate, e.g. jpg or png, and then samed as eps. In the new version, it seems they try to save it directly to eps, but completely failed.
I cannot believe matlab keep having this problem in version 2015,2016,2017... I wonder if it could be just some issues of my laptop or system. Is anyone have any idea on this issue? Thanks a lot
