Is it possible to optimize the parameters and initial conditions such that the variables calculated using the set of DAEs in matlab fit the experimental results

Hi all,
I would like to ask if it is possible to optimise both the parameters and the initial conditions such that the variables evaluated by a system of DAEs are equal to the values experimentally obtained?
Please see the attached m-file for the detail.
