CAD to Simmechanics Second Generation?

I am currently trying to make a model of a bidpedal humanoid robot using Simmechanics Second Generation. Therefore I saved my CAD-files as XML-files using Simmechanics Link in SolidWorks. After that I tried to import this file in Matlab R2012a using the mech_import command. But this only creats a model in Simmechanics First Generation.

Is there any way to get a Second Generation model? I really would like the Second Generation Simmechanics for the animation and modelling.
