availability of hdl coder

OK this isn't so much a question as a plea. Let me add to the chorus of people who'd like to see the HDL coder in the home version. Software defined radio is commonplace for hobbyists now and USB just doesn't have the throughput to stream modern digital comm signals. We really need to do our DSP in an FPGA. Analog devices just came out with a cheap SDR (the Pluto) that includes a baby zynq FPGA. And Xilinx has a home version of Vivado. Woohoo! But writing DSP in VHDL blows. C'mon guys. Sell us the HDL coder, even if it's limited to a few platforms (like the zynq.)

It’s now March 2020.
Have you reviewed this internally? It’s been almost 2 years and not heard anything yet wrt this matter raised.

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for checking in. We did review this internally and we decided that for the time being, it still does not make sense for us to include HDL Coder in the home license.
Thank you
Jack Erickson
