Simulink function with bus output fails to run

Goodmorning,
I have a problem when calling a Simulink function from for example a chart or a matlab function when it has a bus output. Documentation says bus outputs are supported for Simulink functions, but running fails when the function is called. The error is:
c3_untitled.c(399): error C2224: left of '.a' must have struct/union type c3_untitled.c(400): error C2224: left of '.a1' must have struct/union type NMAKE : fatal error U1077: '"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\VC\Bin\amd64\cl.exe"' : return code '0x2'
I included a simple model showing the problem in the attachment.
Thank you for your time and support.

I run the simulation without any error.

Thank you for your reply. Can I ask which Matlab version you are using? I ran this in ML 2016b. As it ran fine for you, I tried on ML 2018a and it worked fine.

Apparently this is an error in specific related to MATLAB 2016b. If the output of an exported function is a bus, the output of the function must also be defined as an input or output of the chart. Otherwise it will not work.
In versions earlier or later this might not be a problem.
