Why is there a mcrCache?

I made a stand-alone matlab executable. Apparently it makes a cache folder under a TEMP folder with quite a few .m files, etc. in order to run? Why is this needed? Sometimes the exe comes back saying that folder is not found... maybe because i have 25 instances of the exe going at the same time, to make it "parallel" processing... and that single folder is getting clobbered 25 times randomly?
I did not know.
