Does Nvidia GTX 2080 TI support MATLAB?

4 views (last 30 days)
I'm thinking buying 1 or 2 GPUs to speed up my network training. Does anyone know whether the Nvidia GTX 2080 TI GPU supports MATLAB 2018a or 2018b release (with Deep Learning Toolbox, Parallel Computing Toolbox, and Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox installed)? Thanks a lot for any help!

Have you managed to get it to work? I always end up with an error in the deep learning toolbox when I run the training with a rtx 2070: See here.
Normal gpu calculations work though, its just the dnn that does not work.

Hi there,
No I haven't got a chance to test it - I've had a 2-wwek vacation. And before that I tried to buy the GPU, but it was not immediately available.
Would like to see you making progress though.

While we have not yet had the opportunity to confirm it with this new hardware (the Ti is released on Thursday), there is no reason why these new cards should not work with MATLAB.
