Power System and Wind Turbine simulation gives solver error

1 view (last 30 days)
I am designing a frequency control model for an isolated power system with a wind farm. The isolated PS and wind turbine model work fine alone but when I put them together and the Power Output of WT to the adder it gives an error - Solver encountered an error while simulating model 'PowerSysFCorganised' at time 51.352514140757535 and cannot continue. Please check the model for errors. Nonlinear iteration is not converging with step size reduced to hmin (0.0000000000000000E+000) at time 5.1352514140757300E+001. Try reducing the minimum step size and/or relax the relative error tolerance.
I have tried changing solver to fixed step and other ODEs but nothing happening. Please help.

Hi,
Try to put the sampling time as 50 or else try to change sampling time inside the Simulink blocks

Thank you for your reply. actually 50 is the time when I introduce the PL( the disturbance/fault). So the frequency drops there. If i put it at 20 it gives error at 20.
