Simulink closes when I try to add the library model

9 views (last 30 days)
I recently installed the Matalb 2018b, Academic version. I'm a new user to Simulink. I want to try some basic modeling in Simulink. When I tried to drag and drop the library models in the Simulink panel, Simulink window closes. The following error message is displayed,
Assertion failed: Deviant '4' : object of type 'SLM3I.Block' [id = -1 ] is not present at b:\matlab\src\m3i\kernel\deviant\deviant.cpp:72:
Last resort exception handling: force closing 'untitled'.
Please help. Thank you.

I've generated the same error while I was editing a custom library block.
I'd edit the block then try to put it in a model, without saving the library first - crashes me every time in R2018b.

What I mean is, be sure that you have saved the library before trying to add the block to your model.

I've the same problem to from r2018 and I have saved the library. The library uses "Configurable Subsystem block" to select between different configurations. Maybe is this the problem?

Hi there, I have the same problem with R2018b. Is there any solution to this issue?
