Does anyone know books/resources available to begin learning how to use MatLab to create visual perception experiments?

I just started trying to learn MatLab at the beginning of this summer (about a month ago). I want to use MatLab to program visual perception experiments. Most of my experiments will consist of several trials, where the user will be presented with one image, followed by a mask, followed by another image. The user will then need to indicate whether or not the two images were identical or different. I have attended several seminars and know how to use MatLab for data analysis but I have no idea how to get started creating these experiments. Does anyone know of any books or resources I can use to help me get started?

I do not have a book name, but Matlab Central is full of resources and tutorials if you know what you're looking for... Sounds like you need to read up on creating GUI's and possibly the image processing toolbox.
