Actually,I am working on neural network and trying to develop a model based on sliding window approach but I have no idea about it.What is sliding window approach?Can someone please explain its algorithm in detail and its application in neural network?What is the algorithm about?I could not find any textbook or material regarding it.Kindly please suggest me any textbook which explains the detail concept and its examples.

Simplest example of a sliding window approach
y( 1 ) = f( x( 1 : n ) );
y( 2 ) = f( x( n+1 : 2 * n );
y( 3 ) = f( x( 2 * n+1 : 3 * n );
Hope this helps
