Take value from matrix and add value .

Matrix S is given

S= [ 0 0 0 0 0
     1 0 0 0 0]

I want to take 1st three number of second row which is 100 and then add with 1 which thee answer will 101 (binary)

The result should be like this

 S= [ 0 0 0 0 0
     1 0 0 0 0
     1 0 1 0 0]

Can someone help me?
