Hello everyone,
I would like to ask how is it possible to do a significance test in the least squares line i plotted of 40 values reffering to wind direction. The least squares line is plotted with the lsline command.
What command do i need to conclude whether the tilt of this line is significant or not. What would be the inputs in this case?
Thanks in advance

Look at the regress command. You will want something like:
[b,bint,r,rint,stats] = regress(Wind,Year);
stats will contain the p-value that most people use to test whether the tilt is significant.
