syms x
f1(x) = x^2 - 4*x + 3;
f2(x) = x^3 - 4*x + 3;
then
fplot([f1 f2], [0 4])
or
fplot(f1, [0 4])
hold on
fplot(f2, [0 4])
hold off

fsurf(f1, [0 1 0 1])
hold on
fsurf(f1, [1 2 0 1])
hold off
Though in this particular case, that would be the same as
fsurf(f1, [0 2 0 1])
