Hello
I want to make a simple simulation of Wireless charging based on the theory of wireless charging. Anyone done something similar, or anyone can help ?
Any help would b appriciated.
Thank you

Hello,
You can use Mutual Inductor block from simscape library. Using this block you can specify the inductance value of each of the coils and also the mutual coupling between them.
Depending on the values you specified for the inductances, you need to add compensation capacitors in series connection with the coils. The capacitances values must be calculated to ensure the resonance condition with the coils at a frequency of 85kHz (recommended by SAEJ2954 standard).
The ground asembly (ground side Coil + capacitor) must be supplied by an alternating voltage with a frequency of 85kHz. The latter could be generated using a phase shift controlled inverter.
Likewize, the vehicle assembly (vehicle side coil + capacitor) need to be connected to a rectifier to generate a DC voltage which will be used to supply the battery of the Electric vehicle.

Hi,
Do you know how to design the values for mutual inductance block?
Also is it okay to use an interleaved boost converter in the front end with 25kHz and mutual inductance block designed with 85kHz.

Hi, do you know how to carry out a wireless fast charging for electric vehicles on simulink or any guidance on how to carry it out ?
